H. I. F. von Biber „Missa
Bruxellensis" - ESTONIAN PREMIERE!
The
year traditionally ends with brilliant large scale works concerts
in St. John's Churches in Tartu and Tallinn, which have fascinated
the audience over ten years already. Under the church vaults we can
this time enjoy the Estonian premiere of a forgotten opus from
baroque era - Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber's "Missa
Bruxellensis". This marvellous piece with spectacular number of
musicians has been performed very few times in whole world. These
concerts with symbolic title mark the end of Estonian presidency of
the EU Council and the beginning of Estonia's 100th anniversary
year!
