One of the most beautiful manors near Tallinn invites you to exclusive concert of white nights in “Maardu Manor Music Lounge”, where baroque ensemble Corelli Consort performs sparkling baroque music on instruments of the era. The next day the ensemble will travel to the stunning Rohrau Castle near Vienna in Austria to perform this excellent program at the Haydn Festival.
You will hear plenty of beautiful baroque and early classical music. A concert in historical manor hall is a good chance to link a romantic evening in wonderful surrounding to emotional music. A positive musical experience is guaranteed!
The ball room of the Maardu manor is one of the most stylish and impressive historical monuments in Estonia, very well restored. Its interior is ideal environment to listen to the sparkling baroque music pieces the Corelli Consort performs on period instruments. The main building of the manor dates back to the era the pieces in the programme of the Corelli Consort were composed - musical pearls by Corelli, Händel, Vivaldi etc. Situating only 16 kilometres from Tallinn, the Maardu manor hosts the concert series "Musical salon in Maardu manor" since June 2008 in collaboration of the Corelli Music and the Bank of Estonia.
In addition to memorable experience on beautiful music, the audience can enjoy cosy salon cafe as well as luxurious interior of the manor that makes it easy to let your mind’s eye to wander in times of aristocratic life and manners.
The concert with intermission lasts for 1,5 hours.
